Terms of Service
1. What you're agreeing to
These terms cover your use of rel4i.com, the rel4i dashboard, and any cloud box ("Box") we provision for you. By paying for a Box, you accept these terms.
2. It's an alpha
rel4i is in active, public alpha. Expect rough edges: features may change or break, boxes may need a restart, and support is one person (Tamer) plus his own agents. We provide the service "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
3. What you get
A Box is a private cloud VPS (currently 4 vCPU / 8 GB RAM / 80 GB NVMe) provisioned to you after payment, with common agent CLIs preinstalled. You bring your own AI subscription (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and authenticate it yourself, inside your Box — rel4i never receives or stores your agent credentials or usage tokens.
4. Plans & billing
Day Pass — a single, non-recurring charge for 24 hours of Box time.
Month — a recurring monthly charge for continuous, always-on Box time.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We provision your Box only after payment succeeds — we never provision on credit.
5. Refunds
Simple rule: unused full months are refundable on request — cancel any time and we'll refund whole calendar months you haven't used yet. Day Passes are a small, one-time charge and are non-refundable once the Box has booted, since the underlying infrastructure cost is incurred immediately.
6. What happens when a plan ends
During the alpha, Boxes are ephemeral. When a Day Pass or Month expires without renewal, the Box and its disk are permanently deleted — there is currently no snapshot or restore. Push your work to git or export anything you want to keep before your plan ends. We are building encrypted, resumable parking (kill the Box, keep your data on a volume only you can decrypt) — until it ships, treat every Box as disposable.
7. Acceptable use
Your Box is yours to configure, including root/SSH access — but it still runs on our infrastructure account, so abuse puts that account at risk for every customer. See the Acceptable Use Policy for specifics (no mining, scanning, spam, or malware). Violating it can result in immediate suspension without refund.
8. Your Box, your control, your responsibility
A Box is your machine. You have root and sole day-to-day administrative control. Full control means full responsibility:
Honest beta disclosure: we are building toward rel4i technically locking itself out of your Box, but that is not yet fully in place. During the beta, rel4i retains an access credential to your Box for operation and support. We do not access your Box except as needed to run the service or with your request, and we never proxy or store your agent-provider tokens — but do not treat a beta Box as one only you can reach. We will announce when full self-lockout ships.
- You are solely responsible for everything that runs inside your Box, including any action an AI agent takes once you authorize it, and for all resulting consequences, data, and output.
- You are responsible for your own backups. Boxes are ephemeral during the alpha (section 6). We do not guarantee the durability, integrity, or recoverability of any data on your Box. Export or push anything you want to keep.
- We provide no uptime, performance, availability, or data-loss guarantee of any kind — there is no SLA. Boxes may restart, fail, be rebuilt, or become unreachable.
- You are responsible for keeping your own agent-provider subscriptions in good standing; rel4i is not a party to them and never handles their credentials or tokens.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract, and comply with all laws applicable to your use.
- Don't share your rel4i account or Box access in ways that violate the one-subscription-one-human-one-box model.
In short: rel4i rents you an isolated machine and gets out of your way. We guarantee nothing about what you do with it or what happens to what's on it — that is yours to own, secure, and back up.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, rel4i's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss inside your Box — back up anything irreplaceable.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product matures out of alpha. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
